Phil and Dot told us that St. Lo was worth a visit so this was our next destination, shame about the weather though, we got wet through walking back from town, despite having macs and brollies! However, we do agree with them and are pleased we made the stopover; we found the listed camperstop, but were re-directed because it’s been moved – we really must buy a new book next year!
Then it’s off to see a bit of needlework; we parked in a motorhome-permitted carpark in Bayeux, (where we stayed overnight) then went off in search of The Tapestry, which was well worth the visit; we came to Bayeux a few years ago, but didn’t get to see it. The rainmacs got another outing, but it didn’t spoil our day.
