On the Saturday we had a bit of trouble with some children; the family had camped further along from the rest of us the day before and on this morning the young girls came to our ‘van begging food, which they’d done to our German “neighbours” the evening before while they were barbequeing, but they had already seen them throwing bread into the sea so decided that they were not hungry, just being a nuisance. Later in the day a French couple pulled in and they tried to clamber into their ‘van through an open window, while they were sitting inside so, needless to say, they moved on! We and our German neighbours, Regina and Rudy, decided to do the same and went a little further along the coast, just past Preveza, where we found a long stretch of beach and spent the next 2 nights there in the same lazy fashion. During the first evening, after dark, we saw the woods across the road lit up with flashing lights that Regina told us were gloworms, which was a bizarre co-incidence because earlier on we were saying that we’d never any.
