Leaving Cardilli we drove West to the coast and stayed overnight on the beach in the Latina area, a bit east of Foce Verde.
We continued on the coast road to Marina di Grosseto, lunching at a very second rate beach cafe which claimed to be a restaurant, where we were served risotto in a throw away plastic dish, not my idea of a meal out!

Our camperstop book had promised a place here to stay, which we were not that thrilled with when the SatNav showed us where it was, so we took the road out of town and discovered a really good, free, motorhome stop, including shade too!
